What information do we collect?
At Enjotados con el Código, S.L. we collect the personal information of website users on a very limited basis, and always for the sole purpose of seeking to improve the support and the services that we make available to them.
These are the types of personal information that we collect:
- Information You Provide to Us: we receive and store all the information that you provide to us voluntarily when interacting with the website (forms, emails…)
- Automatic Information: each time you access our website we automatically receive and store certain types of information such as: the means of access, information about the use of or the interaction with the content. Like other websites, we use "cookies" and other identifiers to collect certain information when your browser or your device accesses our online content.
For what purposes do we process your personal information?
At Enjotados con el Código, S.L. we are aware of the value and the importance of your personal information, and we therefore undertake to process it solely for the purpose of seeking to improve the support and services that we offer you.
Specifically, the purposes pursued include:
- Provision, troubleshooting and improvement of the KOMIT® Services. We use the personal information of website users in order to provide functionality, analyse website performance and resolve usability or effectiveness errors in our channels and services.
- Communicating with you. Our interest is to keep you informed, and we therefore use, subject to prior consent, the personal information provided (telephone, email) in order to answer questions, enquiries or proposals raised about our services.
- Commercial communications. Only if you tick the corresponding box on the contact form will we send you information about the KOMIT® services. We do not install advertising or behavioural advertising cookies, and we do not disclose your data to advertising networks.
- Fraud Prevention. We process personal information in order to prevent and detect fraud or abuse, with the aim of protecting the security of our users.
- Specific purposes. At a given time, we may also request consent to process YOUR personal information for a specific purpose. You will always be informed of this circumstance beforehand and you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of that information.
What is the legal basis for the processing?
- Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): in order to deal with the enquiries that you send us through the form, for analytical cookies and for sending commercial communications. You may withdraw it at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out beforehand.
- Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): in order to maintain the security of the site and to prevent fraud and the automated submission of forms, which is the purpose of reCAPTCHA and of recording the IP address.
- Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): where a legal provision requires us to retain or disclose information.
Providing your data in the form is voluntary, but if you do not provide us with the fields marked as mandatory we will not be able to answer your enquiry.
Automatic information: cookies
As indicated in point two, we receive and process certain information automatically each time you access our website, by means of the cookie system.
Like most websites, we use cookies in order to allow our systems to recognise your browser or access device, and thus to be able to improve our services.
For further information about our cookies, how we use them and how you can configure and manage them, we invite you to read our Cookie Policy in detail.
Notwithstanding that detailed document, the cookies collected have the following purposes:
- To help you navigate and to remember your preferences on the site;
- To analyse the use of our products, services or applications;
- To optimise the performance of our website
The contact form
This is the only point on the website where we ask you for personal data. We collect the name, email address, telephone number, company (optional) and the message that you write to us, together with the IP address, the browser and the reCAPTCHA anti-fraud score, as evidence of the submission.
The form includes two separate boxes, neither of which is pre-ticked:
- Acceptance of the privacy policy (mandatory): this is the legal basis that allows us to process your data in order to reply to you. Without it the form is not submitted.
- Commercial communications (optional): only if you tick it will we send you information about our services. You may withdraw it whenever you wish by writing to hola@komit.es, without this affecting the handling of your enquiry.
We store separately what you accepted and the exact date of each acceptance, because Article 7 GDPR requires us to be able to demonstrate it.
In order to protect it against automated submissions, that page loads Google reCAPTCHA v3. The verification is carried out entirely on our server. Further detail in the Cookie Policy.
Does Enjotados con el Código, S.L. share personal information?
We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
We do, like any company, rely on suppliers that process data on our behalf (data processors) and solely in accordance with our instructions:
- Google Ireland Limited: Google Analytics (only if you accept the analytical cookies) and reCAPTCHA v3 on the contact page. This may involve international transfers to the USA covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Our hosting and email provider, with servers in the European Union, which holds the website, the enquiries database and the notifications that they generate.
In addition, we may disclose data to the public authorities where a legal provision requires us to do so.
Is my personal information safe?
At KOMIT® we value your digital security and privacy, and we therefore design our website so as to protect these aspects to the greatest possible extent. To that end:
- We use Secure Sockets Layer software (SSL), which encrypts the information that you enter on our site while it is being sent.
- We have a strict security protocol for the collection, filing and processing of your personal information. For that reason, on occasion we will ask you for proof of identity or other verification methods before providing you with confidential information or allowing you access to your data.
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, we recommend that you protect yourself at all times against unauthorised access to your data, as well as to your connection devices.
In short, at KOMIT® we work rigorously in order to guarantee you the utmost security and privacy in the use of our web platform and to be worthy of your digital trust.

- The right to data portability, being entitled to receive from us, in an orderly and structured manner, the set of your data that we are currently processing.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR), without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.
- The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the competent one in Spanish territory being the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), the Spanish data protection authority.
The data subjects whose personal data are collected may exercise their personal data protection rights by sending a written communication to the registered office indicated at the beginning of this document or to the email address made available for that purpose, hola@komit.es, including in both cases a photocopy of their DNI (the Spanish national identity document) or another equivalent identification document.
If you consider that your data are not being processed correctly by Enjotados con el Código, S.L., you may address your complaints to hola@komit.es, or to the relevant data protection authority, the one indicated for Spanish territory being the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
How long do we keep your personal information?
We apply the following specific periods:
- Contact form enquiries: one year from the last contact with you, unless a contractual relationship arises from the enquiry, in which case they are retained for the duration of that relationship and for the applicable statutory limitation periods.
- Data of those who agreed to receive commercial communications: until you withdraw your consent.
- Evidence of consent (what you accepted and when): this is retained for as long as it may be necessary in order to demonstrate compliance, and is deleted together with the rest of the record.
- Cookies: the period indicated for each one of them in the Cookie Policy.
Once those periods have elapsed, the data are erased or blocked, remaining available exclusively to the competent judges, courts and public authorities for as long as the limitation period for any liabilities lasts.
As regards the cookies on the Website, depending on their type and category they will have the retention period indicated in our Cookie Policy.
Nevertheless, your personal data may be retained for a maximum period corresponding to the period during which legal obligations may arise for Enjotados con el Código, S.L.
Amendment of the privacy policy
Where required by the legislation in force, or because the company considers it necessary in order to provide better information about the processing of data, this Privacy Policy may be amended.
Should this occur, we will indicate the changes introduced clearly, so that you are able to know, on an up-to-date basis, how we process your personal data.
