Arake is a natural cosmetics line formulated with CBD and aloe vera: body care creams and gels with premium positioning and a very defined visual identity.

Where we started
In cosmetics, the website is the packaging. Arake arrived with a carefully built identity and a short range — which in a conventional shop would be a problem and here is an advantage: every product can take the space it deserves.
The brief was to build a site that conveyed the quality of the product without turning into a cold catalogue, and that explained what CBD and aloe vera actually do in a cream without promising anything that cannot be backed up.
KOMIT's solution
- Bespoke UX/UI design built out from the brand identity, with product photography as the leading element rather than supporting illustration.
- Product pages detailing active ingredients, how to use them and what to expect, written with the restraint that cosmetics regulation demands.
- A skincare blog, which is what draws search traffic while the brand is not yet being searched for by name.
- A subscription form and a link to the brand's social profile, to keep the relationship alive between purchases.
How we built it
- The site was built on Next.js with prerendering: in cosmetics the first impression is literally the first image, and it cannot be slow to arrive.
- The catalogue is built to grow: adding a reference means filling in a page, not rebuilding a template.
- Legal pages and cookie management were resolved from the start, not bolted on afterwards with an off-the-shelf banner.
