What Were Our Starting Needs?

Planet Seeds contacted us for the creation of a custom online store that could accommodate their more than 10,000 products.

We began with a fun brand image, using a very extensive palette of vibrant colors, and storytelling based on space and planets.

After initial meetings with the client, we at KOMIT concluded that the project required custom development to streamline The Planet Seeds' workflow. To achieve this, we created the following roadmap:

  • UX Research and UI Design
  • Creation of an e-commerce platform with a dynamic, carefully designed interface that respects their powerful brand image.
  • Design and creation of a database to house more than 10,000 seeds.
  • Integration with SAP Business One.

Our Work Process

  • Competition-oriented research to uncover insights and new opportunities for potential users of The Planet Seeds' new e-commerce platform. We decided to develop an interface that sets our client apart from their competition.
  • Applied best practices in front and back-end development, with special attention to accessibility and usability of the e-commerce platform. We added features such as multi-language support, favorite product listings, and on-page SEO.
  • Improved the loading speed of the extensive catalog of the e-commerce platform using various strategies, aided by tools for analyzing website performance.
  • Integrated with SAP Business One to maintain effective data synchronization. This streamlines the client's real-time inventory management, order processing, invoicing, and customer records, enhancing the efficiency of the company's processes and improving the online store's user experience.
